What are IPTV Systems?
You can find answers to questions such as what is IPTV, what are the advantages of IPTV, what is the difference of IPTV according to the category subheadings. IPTV, which stands for Internet Protocol Television, is the name of a system that receives video from a satellite (as in centralized satellite systems) and distributes it to broadcast users over a high-speed Internet infrastructure. The trick to this high-definition picture is that when distributed to customer rooms or televisions, the data is converted to IP format by satellite-IP gateway devices instead of coaxial cable, and the image is transmitted to each television. Quality broadcast and interactive features in IP TV system are the biggest difference from other TV and satellite systems. IPTV is a professionally managed corporate TV service that can be broadcast over a broadband internet connection.
How do IPTV Systems work?
As IPTV works over internet (LAN) infrastructure, internet speed testing and cabling and commissioning is an important element. In IPTV, TVs with a built-in set-top box (STB) automatically reach IPTV broadcasts on the network. Many hotel TV models (LG, Samsung, Philips, etc.) have made IPTV installation even easier thanks to STB receivers. Attention should also be paid to the HDMI input and the HDMI cable used on the preferred new generation Smart TVs. By working out the differences between SMATV and IPTV, we can easily understand how the system actually works. Channel restriction in SMATV is not available in IPTV. While broadcast quality in SMATV decreases due to distance and cable quality, in IPTV it is possible to watch the broadcast in a constant and same quality at every point.
